By Bob Rolland – Primary Agent
Your first instinct may be not to answer the phone. It’s your insurance agent calling. Did you forget to make a payment? Does he or she want to sell you more life insurance? No, your agent is just calling to check in. We hope that you can use this call to your advantage. Your agent will work hard on your behalf to help determine the policies that you need. You don’t have to buy anything more, but talking to your agent may help give you peace of mind that you have purchased the insurance that is the right coverage for you or your family’s ever-changing needs.
The call’s a little extra perk that Nationwide offers. Agents contact their customers to help them assess their risk and go over their coverage options. It’s called an On Your Side Review. It’s not intended to sell customers more products and coverage, but to work with customers to ensure their happiness with the service they are receiving at Nationwide, to offer the assistance they need in assessing risk in their lives and providing proper insurance protection.
Life changes like the birth of a child, your teenager learning to drive, a raise at work or the purchase of a motorcycle, boat or RV can prompt a change in insurance coverage or present an opportunity to make your financial future more secure. Some changes can actually lead to decreases in your premiums.
By talking to an agent, you can review your homeowner’s policy so you understand your coverage, as well as review any recent renovations or recently purchased big-ticket items that may have an effect on your insurance needs. You may even find out you qualify for a discount if you made certain home renovations or added a home alarm system. You can also review your auto insurance to make sure you have the appropriate coverage for each vehicle and every driver in your household.
Answering the phone and taking a few minutes to review your insurance coverage can help your financial security. It can help you understand your coverage and give you confidence that you and your family are protected for the future.
If you have missed this important call from your agent, we encourage you to contact him or her directly – today.
